The McCain Foundation

RSP_0089-edited.jpgHope Air and The McCain Foundation share a steadfast relationship spanning more than two decades. Since 1996, The McCain Foundation—headquartered in New Brunswick—has been a supporter of Hope Air’s charitable activities in Atlantic Canada, helping families and individuals get to the healthcare they need.

Specialized healthcare and advanced medical technologies are located in larger urban centres, far from the homes of most Hope Air patients. If they aren’t flying, many people in eastern Canada face long drives, complicated by ferry crossings and often by bad weather.

With the support of The McCain Foundation, we are able to assist low-income families and individuals of all ages and illnesses living in Atlantic Canada access the care they need—bypassing the financial, physical or emotional stress of long drives while ill.

“As a family Foundation, we look for ways to help other families,” said Linda McCain, The Foundation’s Chair of the Board. “Hope Air is just such an organization that offers families a hand when they most need it.”
